He sources rough opal from Fire Opals Mining and Trading, a specialist supplier based in Lightning Ridge — one of the world’s most important sources of high-quality black opal.

Each stone is then carefully cut and polished by Mark to reveal its natural pattern and distinctive play of colour.

By working directly with rough material from Lightning Ridge, Mark is able to produce unique finished opals that highlight the remarkable colours and character for which Australian opals are renowned.

Every stone offered has been individually selected, cut, and polished to showcase the beauty and individuality that make Lightning Ridge opals so highly valued by collectors and jewellery makers around the world.
